What was the client’s need?

For the creation of the client’s avatars (digital representations) of historical figures, it was necessary to design and implement a solution that guaranteed a high degree of realism while maintaining full control over the dialogue.

What solution did we provide?

Our proprietary solution delivered a semi-automated pipeline for preparing responses to a wide range of questions, enabling accurate response selection and, importantly, eliminating the problem of model hallucinations. We utilized the latest language models (LLMs), including GPT-4. Additionally, based on preserved samples of authentic voices of historical figures, we undertook automatic text generation using a text-to-speech tool.

What benefit did the client gain?

Thanks to our contribution, avatars were created that offer museum visitors the opportunity to engage in direct conversations with characters from decades ago. Using Simmundi technology, Wojtek the Bear, Jan Kowalewski, and Jan Zumbach can share their experiences in a unique digital form.

Our expertise in creating dialogue engines allowed us to develop a product tailored to the client's needs, offering functions that were unavailable in the client’s previously used technology. Additionally, it significantly shortened the time needed to prepare the database and minimized the operational costs of the avatars.
